Pro Bowl 2014 is heating up with the match just looming right around the corner and this year promises to be a Pro Bowl the likes has never been seen before.

With new uniforms, new player selection processes and rule changes for Pro Bowl 2014, there are a ton of new things to look out for. One thing that never changes in however is the amount of talent that's going to be displayed on the field.

While past games have been described as nothing more than "glorified flag football," this year a great number of players stand out from the rest and promises an interesting Pro Bowl 2014.

Assuming everything goes the way it's intended, and we are actually treated to a viable football game, there are certain players who are set to stand out from the rest.

Quarterback Andrew Luck, who was recently selected as No. 1 overall in the Pro Bowl draft, promises to be one of the most oustanding players of this year's games. If any quarterback is used to the pressure of having his team's success relying on his throwing shoulder, it's Andrew Luck. He's expected to gain the most passing yards of any other Pro Bowl quarterback this year, with his potential set to more than 20.

Team Rice's wide receiver Josh Gordon is another potential standout in Pro Bowl 2014. Over the 2013-14 regular season, Gordon caught 87 passes for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns while he played with the Browns. This year he'll be teaming up with future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees in taking down enemy teams. Gordon's ready to stretch the field and take advantage of Brees' strong, accurate arm to devastate all opposing teams who might stand in their way.

Team Rice's Jimmy Graham will certainly make this year's Pro Bowl a lot more interesting, especially since the TE will be pairing up with his regular quarterback. Chemistry between players is the key to any victory and it will show when Graham and Brees join forces on numerous occasions. Graham has been called a "beast" on the field, famous for being nearly impossible to cover and even more difficult to tackle.

Team Sander's A.J. Green is another hot contender in Pro Bowl 2014, proving to be the most trustworthy and consistent target. The team has three relatively young quarterbacks in Andrew Luck, Nick Foles and Cam Newton and young quarterbacks always need a good security blanket to fall back on.

Robert Quinn of Team Rice will be starting Pro Bowl 2014 as a DE, after finishing the 2013-14 season recording 19 sacks. Quinn proved to be unstoppable on the field all season long but this year he'll be facing off some of the most impressive offensive linemen the tournament has ever seen. However, Quinn will also be up against some inexperienced quarterbacks.

Team Sander's Jamaal Charles will quite the outstanding player for Pro Bowl 2014. This versatile footballer has proven himself to be one of the most effective receivers out of the backfield in past seasons and is expected to perform even better in the future.
