After last week's crazy episode titled "Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra," the hit CBS sitcom is back with more hilarious antics, but since the episode marks the 200th episode milestone for the show, we are going to witness a very special show that will feature the mother played by Cristin Milioti. We are going to see what she's been doing in the past (seasons) and how she found her way to Ted (Josh Radnor). It can be noted that for the show's 100th episode, a heartwarming episode featuring the entire cast was made. During the CBS sitcom's finale TCA Panel, executive producer Carter Bays gushed a thing or two about what fans can expect on the upcoming episode. "It's a fun little 'Disneyland tour' through the series, from the perspective of someone outside the group," Bays said adding, "It's very emotional, and we could not have done this with any other actress. There's a lot of live music coming up." Additionally, TVLine teased that show fans will finally know the names of Ted's kids played by David Henrie and Lyndsy Fonesca. Wondering what lies ahead for the soon-to-depart show? Well, executive producer Crag Thomas said, "There's an episode coming up about the fact that Robin's mom hasn't come to the wedding - and Lily really, really wants Robin to be upset about it. Lily thinks Robin needs this emotional catharsis about this fact." Thomas added, "We're a very time-jumpy show, so you will see a lot of the future and where everyone is in the end," said the HIMYM co-creator, admitting that he and Bays haven't written the finale yet, but "we know what the last minute or two is like." He also dished that the title of the finale episode is "Last Forever." For now, enjoy the 200th episode of the show. According to some spoilers, Rachel Bilson is making a guest appearance as the mother's roommate, Cindy. And by the way, Cindy is apparently Ted's ex-girlfriend in the earlier seasons of the show, so it's not surprising if she has spoken to the mother about Ted Mosby. Moreover, teasers hint that we will witness a scene at the St. Patrick's Day party were Ted and the mother may have made their first run-in. However, Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) will be there to somehow prevent any possible contact between the two.
The official synopsis for How I Met Your Mother season 9 episode 16 titled "How Your Mother Met me" reads: "On the 200th episode, The Mother recounts how she met Ted and what she's been up to for the past eight years, on the final season."
