Super Bowl 2014 predictions have been piling up as early as October 2013 and now that the Denver Broncos-Seattle Seahawks showdown has finally found conclusion on Feb. 2, it's time to see who got it right and who got it wrong.

Several pundits made brave and bold Super Bowl 2014 predictions and with Peyton Manning's stellar NFL season, it's unsurprising that majority favor the AP MVP awardee and his team.

One Super Bowl 2014 prediction that favored the Denver Broncos was made by ESPN's Cris Carter, who forecasted a 27-20 ending for the game in favor of Manning's team. "Just in case the Seattle wideouts didn't like me," said Carter as follow-up.

Trent Dilfer of ESPN, also made a similar call but gave a more narrow margin between the two teams. He predicted Broncos would lead, 27-24, saying "Seattle's great, Peyton Manning's greater."

Fox's Jimmy Johnson had similar sentiments when he predicted, "I just don't think Seattle can score with Peyton Manning."

Another Manning and Broncos supporter was ESPN's Steve Young who predicted 27-17 in favor of the Broncos.

"Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense will figure out a way to win this game," said Young.

Chris Berman was one of the few pundits who got it right in the end, when he predicted a 23-21 ending in favor of the Seattle Seahawks.

"Defenses win championships," Berman confidently said and Sunday's game was a true testament to his solid words.

Keyshawn Johnson also stayed true to his original bet, predicting 23-21 in favor of Seattle. "I picked them in the beginning of the year, and I got to stay true to form," Johnson explained.

Another Super Bowl 2014 prediction that came true was ESPN's Ray Lewis' forecast of a Seahawks win. "Fast, physical, young. No pressure on them. Great team," he said when he predicted a 27-21 ending in favor of the Seahawks.

NFL Network's Deion Sanders and Willie McGinest and Fox's Howie Long were on the Seahawks' side in their Super Bowl 2014 predictions.

"I like their mentality. I like how aggressive they are," McGinest claimed in his prediction for Super Bowl 2014's ending.
