Super Bowl 2014 predictions have been made by several pundits and media men long before Sunday's showdown between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.

While some rely on team statistics and other complicated data, many have turned to animals for Super Bowl 2014 predictions.

After the Broncos crushing defeat by the Seahawks, it's time to tally the scores and see which animal's Super Bowl 2014 prediction got it right.

Here's a glimpse of eight clairvoyant animals who've shared their Super Bowl 2014 predictions:

1. Eli The Ape

For the past six years, an ape from Utah named Eli has accurately predicted the winner of the Super Bowl. This year, he made his decision with confidence by swiftly knocking over a helmet bearing the Seahawks logo and subsequently getting it right for the 7th year in a row.

2. Teddy the Porcupine

Teddy the porcupine is known for being cute and also for correctly predicting the Super Bowl champions for the past two years. This time around, Teddy says Seattle all the way and claims his third straight year in the clairvoyance business.

3. Puppies

In the Late Night Show, Jimmy Fallon decided to ask some cuddly canines to cast their predictions for Super Bowl 2014. The comedian placed two bowls of food — one representing each team — on the ground, and two of the pups lunged toward the Broncos bowl. (The others refused to make a prediction either way.)

Too bad the puppies didn't get it right this time — maybe they need a few lessons from veterans Eli and Teddy on this whole predicting the Super Bowl winner thing.

4. Buffett the Manatee

Buffett, a “clairvoyant” manatee who has correctly predicted the winner for the past six years, has spoken once again. He’s been trained to swim toward one of two targets marked with either team’s logo and this year, he went straight for the Broncos.

5. Orange the Seal

An aquarium in Connecticut enlisted the help of a harbor seal named Orange to predict this year's Super Bowl 2014 winner. The staff threw two footballs, each tied with either team’s colors, into her tank and waited for her to retrieve one as her pick. Two out of three times, the seal went with the Broncos. Apparently, Orange needs a little more training on the clairvoyance department.

6. A panda

At the Memphis Zoo, a very adorable panda was placed beneath a Broncos flag and a Seahawks flag. He quickly chose Denver’s blue and orange standard, and then proceeded to roll around wrapped up in the flag, so he seems especially confident.

7. Pepper the Octopus

Pepper the oracular octopus gazed into his crystal ball and predicted a Super Bowl 2014 winner between the Broncos and Seahawks. He was given two helmets and, after pondering for 45 minutes, eventually settled on the one representing Denver.

Guess that crytal ball's not as accurate as it says on the box.

8. Fred the Bunny

Fred, a "psychic" bunny who was born in Los Angeles and rescued at an animal shelter, began playing with tarot cards when he was six months old. He used a special set of cards to make his Super Bowl prediction, opting for the Seahawks. Despite the fact that he incorrectly chose the 49ers last year, this year he got it one when he forecasted a win in Seattle's near future.

Rounding up the tally, that's three animals who got it right in their Super Bowl 2014 predictions.
