Why Castle Season 6 Episode 14 Didn't Air Last Week!
By Jobs & Hire Staff Reporter | Feb 03, 2014 09:10 PM EST
Castle season 6 episode 14 didn't air last week to the disappointment of show fans who wanted to get their regular dose of the hit, long-running series. The episode titled "Dressed to Kill" didn't only hint about the killer in the fashion industry but it also gave us a clue that Beckett will be dressing up for the occasion. Too bad we weren't able to witness this last week. Fortunately this week, ABC has now decided to finally air the rather delayed episode, so don't miss it when it happens. Tune in to ABC at 10/9c tonight, or watch Castle season 6 episode 14 via online streaming using the free online stream link provided below.
One of the most disappointing things a television network can do is to reschedule the airing of an episode without prior notice, and that is what happened last week. The alphabet network has not mentioned earlier that it will be pushing Castle's episode 14 back a week; hence, many fans waited for the show to air its all-new episode. What's worse is that ABC has not provided any reason why it delayed the airing of Castle season 6 episode 14, but what like Examiner reported last week, many shows are actually being delayed from airing their new shows to give way to the Super Bowl telecasts that can greatly affect their ratings. But moving on, let's just be thankful that the latest episode of the series is finally going to air tonight.
In the all-new Castle season 6 episode 14, Beckett fans will finally have a glimpse on what Kate's wedding dress would look like. In this episode, aside from Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) learning more of Kate Beckett's (Stana Katic) modeling stint for "Modern Fashion," he will also discover that looking for a wedding dress is a very serious issue haunting all brides out there. Good thing Beckett enlists Martha Rodgers (Susan Sullivan) in finding the perfect dress, but Beckett will realize that her mother-in-law's taste is way off than she expected. Fortunately, Beckett will find the perfect wedding dress by fate, only to find herself suffering from wedding jitters when she tries to fit the beautiful piece of clothing. Interestingly, TV Guide reported that Kate's wedding gown was actually a masterpiece by Castle's costume designer Luke Reichle. The materials used for the fine dress include "reembroidered French silver bullion lace with a skirt of silk taffeta and organza." It seems that nothing's stopping the two from getting married except for the new case they are working on. However, we might not like what actress Stana Katic dished to TV Guide last week that "there's got to be some espionage stunt that screws up the wedding and leads them to city hall to just get it over with." Now doesn't this sound so familiar Grey's Anatomy fans? Watch castle season 6 episode 14 via online streaming using the free link provided at the end of this post.
The official synopsis for castle season 6 episode 14 "Dressed to Kill" reads: "When the assistant to Modern Fashion Magazine's dictatorial editor Matilda King is found murdered, Castle and Beckett are thrust into the glitzy, ruthless world of high fashion in their search for the killer. Meanwhile Beckett's history in the modelling world gets her access to a very special wedding surprise."
Don't miss the all-new episode "Dressed to Kill" which is set to air this Monday night at 10/9c on ABC. Find out more and watch Castle season 6 episode 14 using this free link here.
