New York Knicks Trade Rumors: Rajon Rondo, Kyle Lowry, Kyrie Irving Could Be Targeted Before Deadline

The New York Knicks have been struggling all-season long, but they are not expected to waive the white flag anytime soon as reports indicated that they will be active before the trade deadline in hopes of improving their chances.
ESPN New York reported that the Knicks will look to trade for a point guard in the offseason to shore up their rotation currently composed of Raymond Felton, Pablo Prigioni, and Beno Udrih.
Udrih has been inactive since allegedly asking for a trade, while Felton and Prigioni have been failing to reach expectations in their past few games.
The Felton-Prigioni duo managed to produce just six points on a combined 2-for-9 shooting in 57 minutes during their 101-98 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday - a proof that the Knicks need a lot of point guard help in order to make a deep run this season.
The Knicks made it no secret that they are very interested in acquiring Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics. Recent reports suggested that the Knicks will aggressively pursue the All-Star point guard before the trade deadline.
The Celtics have been publicly telling teams that they will not trade Rondo anytime soon, but the Knicks are still keeping their fingers crossed, hoping that Rondo will eventually ask for a trade before the deadline.
And in the event Rondo stays put in Boston this season, the Knicks are expected to revisit discussions with the Toronto Raptors about a potential trade for Kyle Lowry, who is expected to become one of the most coveted players before the deadline.
The Knicks and the Raptors almost struck a deal earlier in the season, but talks went down after the Raptors insisted for the inclusion of the Knicks' 2018 first-round pick in any deal involving Lowry.
Kyrie Irving, who is reportedly losing his patience in Cleveland, is allegedly on the wish list of the Knicks as well. However, there is no indication that the Cavaliers are planning to trade him anytime soon.
If the Knicks fail to secure the services of their top-three priorities, ESPN New York noted that the team will also consider trading for veteran point guard Andre Miller of the Denver Nuggets, Jameer Nelson of the Orlando Magic, or Avery Bradley of the Boston Celtics.
