Yuna Kim's boyfriend issues have plagued her since the beginning of her professional career and for good reason.
Rumors of 23-year-old Yuna Kim's boyfriend first popped up five years ago in 2009 when the figure skating champion was romantically linked to fellow skater Johnny Weir.
According to rumors, Weir was supposedly Yuna Kim's boyfriend and have been dating for years before they were photographed training for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics together.
Pictures of the two getting cosy on the ice were posted online by fans, somehow backing up rumors that Weir was indeed Yuna Kim's boyfriend.
However, Weir spoke out a few years regarding his relationship with Kim and clarified that they were only just friends. According to Weir, he and Kim have been training together for a long time and were in the same sport, thus share a closeness and familiarity that may seem more intimate than most.
Another rumor on the issue of Yuna Kim's boyfriend emerged in 2009 but this time linking Kim to Korean swimming champ Tae Hwan Park.
Korean fans have caught on the two athletes' closeness, speculating that they might be more than just friends.
In an interview, Kim was asked directly by reporters if she and Park were dating but the figure skating world champion only laughed it off.
