The Survivor 2014 cast bios are out and inevitably things are going to start heating up on the island.

Still going strong even after 27 seasons, Survivor 2014's cast bios may surprise avid fans this year, as the CBS producers have put in a little twist to the longstanding TV show.

Survivor's 28th season is scheduled to air tonight on CBS and the proceedings may shock you, as the producers have divided the 18 castaways into three thribes as opposed to the usual one or two.

The members of the Survivor 2014 cast list will be split into groups based on their physical strength, intelligence and appearace, in a season that CBS is calling a battle of the "Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty."

Two members of the Survivor 2014 cast list are from New Jersey: Tony Vlachos, a Jersey City police officer and Cliff Robinson, a former NBA player. The two have drawn attention as physically strong men, because of which they have been aptly placed in the Brawn tribe which may spell advantage or doom for both of them as well as the other contenders.

The Brawn team appears to have the most advantage when it comes to battling physical challenges but their size and strenth could prove to be their disadvantage when it's time for the tribes to merge.

Another thing that may not bode well for the two contestants from New Jersey is that sports celebrities and law enforcement officers have a bad track record in "Survivor" and never make it to the end since their types often get targeted by the others early in the game.

In addition, there are no recurring contestants among the tribe members this year.
