Craigslist Killer from Atlanta Miranda Barbour has been denounced by Satanists, according to a report from CNN.
According to Pennsylvania newspaper The Daily Item, the so-called Craigslist killer from Atlanta claimed she joined a satanic cult in Alaska back when she was only 13 years old and was responsible for several murders since then.

Barbour, hailed the Craigslist killer from Atlanta by the media, was convicted in 2013 for one count of murder. However, the 19-year-old told the media outlet that she was, in reality, responsible for 22 killings so far.

Investigators have not yet found evidence to support the Craigslist killer from Atlanta's claims however, top Satanists are already denying that they have any connection to Barbour or Elytte Barbour, her husband who was involved in the murder of Troy LaFerrara, 42.

LaFerrara was killed by the couple after he answered a "companionship" ad posted by Craigslist killer from Atlanta Miranda Barbour on the site.

"According to our records, we have never had any contact from this woman, nor her accomplice," confirmed Church of Satan head priest Magus Peter Gilmore. "It seems to me that she is calling herself a member of a 'satanic cult,' not a legally incorporated above-ground form of satanism."

"Thorough investigation will likely demonstrate that this cult story is fiction," Gilmore said. Founded in 1966 by Anton LaVey, the Church of Satan is the oldest and largest such body in the United States.

The church's "Nine Satanic Statements" firmly believe that Satan "represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!"

A spokesperson from another Satanic Temple, Lucien Greaves, also confirmed that the Craigslist killer from Atlanta and her husband was not connected to their church in any way.

"Barbour seems bent on displaying herself as prolific murderer and absolute monster, and her 'Satanism' seems nothing more than another transparent effort to aid in this campaign of reverse," public relations, said Greaves.

"It must be remembered that 'the Devil made me do it' excuse far predates any written doctrine of Satanism, and I feel certain that Barbour's own relationship with any organized Satanism will turn out to be vague or non-existent," he explained.

What do you think of the so-called Craigslist killer from Atlanta's claims?
