Another surprising fact about Young is that her name isn't actually Bellamy, but Amy. She'd used another stage name mainly because by the time she was accepted into the Screen Actors Guild, the name Amy Young had already been taken by the child star who appeared in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

According to the actress, her acting career started when she was about 4 years old when she enrolled to a baby acting class at the Flat Rock Playhouse near Hendersonville.

Some of the few things Bellamy Young can't live without are animals, music and meditation. There three are some of the best ways she releases all her stress from hard work and especially loves petting small animals' eats him.

Young is also a vegan and hasn't eaten any meat or meat product since she's decided to do so. However, sometimes there are food that come really close to distracting him.

"I may be vegan, but my mama’s buttermilk biscuits are the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted. Asheville is a great city for vegan foodies. There’s tofu lasagna at Avenue M, located a block from my childhood home. The vegan Reuben sandwich from the Laughing Seed—ridiculous. Then there’s The Hop’s vegan milk shakes. So good I could cry," the actress once said.
