Chelsea Clinton's marriage may have happened a few years back but that doesn't mean the high-profile couple isn't encountering a few rough spots now and again.
According to Showbizspy.com, Chelsea Clinton's marriage may have found one of its biggest obstacles at home as reports say former president Bill Clinton is less than happy at his new son-in-law.
Chelsea Clinton's marriage may find its first "obstacle" in none other than her father, as reports say the former president can't stand his daughter's husband Marc Mezvinsky.
Shortly after Chelsea Clinton's marriage, the former president reportedly gave Mezvinsky the cold shoulder by neglecting to invite him for a sun-soaked Hampton's vacation. He also didn't invite Mezvinsky for a star-studded trip to Africa which was an important event for Clinto whose main advocate is raising awareness for the continents growing poverty.
According to some reports, the Clintons rented an $11 million estate in the tony town of Sagaponack, N.Y. They reportedly invited family and friends to stay with them at the lavish mansion, which boasts six bedrooms, a heated pool and a private path to the beach – but they didn’t ask Marc along, according to the National Enquirer.
Accor is that Showbizspy.com, Chelsea didn't show up as she been working on her dissertation in Oxford, England while Marc was “working on a business deal” in Manhattan.
“That’s a real put-down to Marc,” the insider commented. “Bill can’t stand Chelsea’s hubby!
“Chelsea is heartbroken by her dad’s continued slights.
“Truth is Bill has never warmed to Marc. He’d rather be around a brainy guy like Jesse Eisenberg.”
Despite what rumors say, however, Chelsea Clinton's marriage remains as strong as ever and there have even been speculation of the power couple adding a baby in the mix.
