Chumlee dead -- Pawn Star's cast member Chumlee's death hoax has become the new popular item on the internet after a false report of the reality TV star's demise circulated around social media sites.
EBuzzd and other websites spread false news that Pawn Star's Chumlee was dead, passing away earlier this week.
Like with many other death hoaxes in the past, most online users did not really believe the reports talking about Chumlee's death, especially as the reality star himself responded to the death hoax with a tweet.
“May we live long, Rich forever,” Chumlee posted on Twitter Wednesday in response to the circulating death hoax news.
Chumlee's Pawn Star's co-stars also took to social media sites to address the false report, with Rick Harrison tweeting that Austin Russell is alive and well, according to The Hollywood Gossip.
"@chumlee_ is ALIVE & WELL! He is 101 lbs down & in the best health of his life! Thanks for your concern! He is filming today at GS Pawn," Harrison, 48, told fans on Twitter.
"Breaking news: CHUMLEE IS ALIVE & WELL! He is actually filming today but we all really appreciate everyone's concern!" added Harrison.
But while death hoaxes aren't surprising nowadays, the shocking thing about the issue is that this would not be the first time Austin "Chumlee" Russell was embroiled in a death hoax. He was also the subject of two death hoaxes in 2013, both of which became hot topics on the internet.
One of Chumlee's death hoaxes in 2013 claimed that the reality TV star overdosed of marijuana, which ultimately led to his death.
So what do you think about Chumlee's death hoax?
