Jim Nantz's girlfriend, who is now his better half, has been getting a lot of attention online ever since New York Post first published her name, revealing Jim Nantz's girlfriend to the public.
If you haven't known yet, the famous CBS Sports announcer already got married to his 20 years younger girlfriend, Courtney Richards, in 2012. The Big Lead reported back then that the nuptials took place on the 7th hole of the Pebble Beach golf course.
The buzz about Jim Nantz's girlfriend then spread like wildfire since she was way younger than Nantz. Aside from that, their wedding ceremony also made headlines since Patriots' owner Robert Kraft and New England quarterback Tom Brady attended. Furthermore, other media outlets reported that Phil Mickelson also attended the private wedding.
Jim Nantz's girlfriend and the CBS announcer were engaged for nearly 20 months before they tied the knot.
Nants reportedly popped the question while the two of them were vacationing with friends George and Jeb Bush.
On the other hand, it can also be recalled that Jim was "ridiculed' over his divorce with his now ex-wife Lorrie.
"I feel like the whole thing was so misrepresented. It's really hard to believe what came out publicly and how salacious it sounded. It left me feeling really distrustful of everything I read or hear," Jim said on the issue.
"I heard people I'm close to speculating on the radio about the divorce and ridiculing and laughing about some things that were written that just weren't true," he added. "I thought, 'Gosh, you know me better than that. I would never do that. How could you do this? Where is the sensitivity?'"
Sports Brooks reported that the judge working on their divorce back then claimed that it was not impacted by Jim's issue of cheating with then 29-year-old Courtney Richards.
According to Nantz, the split was not because of his rumored girlfriend. The sportscaster even cried when he told Superior Court Judge Howard Owens that it was Lorrie's "excessive spending and lack of support" that made him realize he wanted a divorce.
Jim Nantz and Lorrie had been married for 26 years before they filed for divorce.
