Reports of Apple currently in negotiation with Comcast involving a joint product launch of the new Apple Tv set-top box which would offer its users access to live Comcast cable programming. On top of that, Apple Tv will also have features that will allow users to television programs, apps, games, and on-demand movies.
Apple is making progress to make the service of its Apple Tv in line with the quality of Cable Programing. A deal with the largest cable company in the nation for a potential tie up can just be the solution. While these negotiations are at its early age, Apple has been on the job on its streaming service idea for some time now. We could remember that Apple has been working on the Apple TV features since 2012.
Its also been noted that Apple has been hiring insiders from the cable industry to assist them on the business and technical side of their deals. The company has been hiring several key people to scope out
information and rights to stream contents that would make Apple Tv more appelaing to its users.
Similar goals of Apple and Comcast to the advancement of the set-top box technolgy is an indication that the deal between both companies will be concluded soon. One major priority of this deal is to ensure the users that there will be no issues or buffering during streaming of the videos. Apple desires to guarantee that the quality of their network will be on top notch.
As of the moment, one of the biggest concern on this deal is that Apple must acquire significant rights to TV programming at a cost that the users can pay. A higher cost for programs via Apple Tv will greatly affect the outcome of the Apple Tv sales, as users will compare its pricing to traditional pay to TV services.
