Gwyneth Paltrow's blog post is the talk of the town as of late, following the actress' shocking revelation that she and her husband, Chris Martin, have decided to part ways, Washington Post reported Wednesday.

The 41-year-old Hollywood actress has now announced and confirmed in her latest post that she and her husband, 37-year-old Coldplay frontman Christ Martin, are ending their 10-year marriage.

"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate," Gwyneth Paltrow's blog post read. "We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."

It can be noted that Paltrow and Martin tied the knot in December 2003, and they have two kids: nine-year-old Apple and seven-year-old Moses.

Upon breaking the news on her lifestyle Web site Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow's blog post titled "Conscious Uncoupling" received a lot of attention online and many news sites quickly featured what she wrote.

"We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been," Gwyneth Paltrow's post continued. "We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."

According to BBC, just a few minutes after the post was published, Gwyneth Paltrow's blog/website crashed since countless readers attempted to visit it and confirm the news straight from the horse's mouth.

Aside from the actress' thoughts, an advice on marriage, divorce and spiritualism from two doctors was also presented in the post.

Dr. Habib Sadeghi and Dr. Sherry Sami wrote that divorce is a "traumatic and difficult decision for all parties involved."

The doctors concluded it with: "By choosing to handle your uncoupling in a conscious way, regardless of what's happening with your spouse, you'll see that although it looks like everything is coming apart; it's actually all coming back together."

The shocking news about Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's divorce came just a year after they moved to Los Angeles from London.
