Microsoft’s Future Discussed By CEO Satya Nadela, As Investors Welcome The New Chief

Satya Nadela, the new Microsoft CEO was welcomed by investors to discuss the company's future.

Opinions suggests that the new chief was off to a great start, appearing for the first time last week, at a small conference event in San Francisco. Nadela was announcing the launch of its famous Office suite for the Apple's iPad during the conference. He was also introducing new services that are created specifically to aid companies manage an assembly of personal computers and mobile devices no matter what operating system is in use.

Satya Nadela began his post as CEO, on February 4, Microsoft's shares added more than 2% this Friday, while an increase around 11% was recorded since his debut. The increase of the company's shares offered positive insights to its investors, comparing to the weakened market value measuring to 40% during the 14-year rule of Steve Balmer, Satya's predecessor.

Microsoft believes that the company is on the right track, and considers the time needed in order for them to achieve. Challenges will be present particularly on the upcoming Build developers' conference, held annually. The company will be announcing its new set of devices together with their future plans on its Windows updates.

The Microsoft chief must establish a desirable goal to keep their main products on the market more interesting, by employing effective strategies and keeping developers occupied. The Windows operating system and Office are the top grossing products that the company has on its arsenal. Microsoft remains poor in terms of smartphone and tablet devices operating systems.

Microsoft considers the fact that it needs to focus more on building a cloud base system that will appeal to its users, and to move their products towards the cloud. The tech giant want to direct its attention more on the enterprises, which accounts 70% of their entire sales during the last fiscal year.
