Cynthia Rhodes and Richard Marx Announced Ending 25 Years Of Marriage On Katie Today Show

Cynthia Rhodes and Richard Marx splitting up, the "Now and Forever" singer announced the news on Katie Couric's today show. The statement about ending the marriage was a shocker for the audience due to the fact that their marriage issues were not widely known to the public.

Richard Marx told Katie Couric a remark on being single again during the today show. The couples are planing tho have a divorce after being married for 25 years. Richard Marx at 50, and Cynthia Rhodes at 57, met each other while the singer was working on the soundtrack of "Staying Alive". The "Dirty Dancing", "Flashdance" actress, and 'Right Here Waiting" singer tie the knot on January 8, 1989.

Hollywood celebrities breaking up is not that unique nowadays, just recently Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin also separated from each other. The Cynthia Rhodes and Richard Marx split up is probably current events, but the couple has been separated since July last year. The pair are going through divorce since their relationship went through a rough road.

The breaking up celebrity couple has three kids over the years they were together, Brandon at 23. Lucas at 21, and Jesse at 20. Representatives from Richard Marx side also confirmed about the recent news on their on going divorce.

Meanwhile, during the past few year Cynthia Rhodes has retired from her acting career to prioritize taking care of her family and become a full time mother for her children.

Richard Marx discussed about the time he wrote the song "Right Here Waiting" saying that he made the song as a love letter for his former lover, Cynthia Rhodes.

The 25 years marriage would be considered a long commitment, but Cynthia Rhodes and Richard Marx will be having a divorce soon. The announcement from the singer on Katie Couric's today show means that he will be dating soon than expected.
