Ultimate Warrior Dead: Wrestling Star James Hellwig's Death - Real or Hoax?

The Ultimate Warrior's death is causing a buzz online as fans, critics and netizens in general attempt to decipher the authenticity of the shocking news that hit online news sites today. Hours after James Hellwig's alleged death, many are wondering whether the alarming news is another death hoax as hoaxes victimizing celebs and famous personalities alike are flooding the web on a daily basis.

In 1991, The Ultimate Warrior was rumored to be dead when he disappeared from the WWF. Upon the wrestler's return on the ring in 1992, everyone was shocked to see that he was being represented by a different person which shocked the wrestling fans. Everyone believed that he died and the urban legend about the Ultimate Warrior was true.


In 1998, The Ultimate Warrior returned again in the ring at WCW Monday Nitro shocking everyone because he appeared to be the real wrestler, James Hellwig, even Hulk Hogan reacted by saying "I thought you were dead".

James Hellwig, the Ultimate Warrior, was reported to had some lengthy conflicts with the WWE management which also involves some legal battle. Despite the issues with the WWE, Ultimate Warrior graced the ring again on Saturday to be inducted on the Hall of Fame of the wrestling organization. On Monday, he also made his last appearance, giving an emotional speech that relates to his legacy and death. He was wearing a mask that replicates the face paint design he used in the height of his career, saying "No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own."

The Ultimate Warrior, newest member of the Wrestling's Hall of Fame, died at the age of 54. Reports online said that he collapsed at the front of his hotel room in Arizona. The hospital who received James Hellwig pronounced him dead upon arrival. Wrestling stars and fans are still confused about the truth behind the reports, some thinks that this could be part of a promotion using the urban legend of the Ultimate Warrior, while others believe that the expressed grief of wrestling stars over the internet proves the death of a legend.
