Married Couple For 70 Years Died 15 Hours Apart Each Other: A Love Story That Lasted 7 Decades

Married couple from Nashport, Ohio, who was married for 70 years, and never left each other for all those decades died 15 hours apart from one another. Helen Felumlee who is 92 years old died 15 hours before her husband Kenneth Felumlee who is 91 years old.

Reports of a love story that survived seven decades since they got married 70 years ago, fell an end after the couple died just hours apart from one another. The couple who resides at Nashport, Ohio, had eight children, who said that their parents remained together and inseparable since they found each other when they were just teenagers. The Zanesville Times Recorder also reported the married couples, who were known to have once shared a bunk bed inside a ferry than just being apart one another for a night.

The first of the couple who died on April 12, was Helen Felumlee, the wife who was at 92 years old, followed by her husband, Kenneth Felumlee, at 91 years old, who died the next morning. Their daughter, Linda Cody, said in reports, that the married couple was very deeply in love with each other till the last day of their lives. She also said that the couple always hold each others hands during breakfast, and never left each others company.

The daughter of the married couple also gave a statement that hours before their father, Kenneth Felumlee, died, he was able to tell them that their mother was already dead. He died together with 24 of his closest family surrounding him.

Kenneth Felumlee was known to have been in different jobs, starting as a railroad inspector and mechanic, then he went to become a mail carrier at the Nashport Post Office. He also was an active member and Sunday school teacher of the United Methodist Church. Helen Felumlee on the other hand remained at home and took care of the children as a housewife, who definitely did the cleaning and cooking for their family.

The married couple experienced a weakening health condition over the past few years, and they were considered to have done their best to remain strong and well for one another.
