Del Taco Santa Paula Charged Customers Thousand Of Dollars Over Some Burritos And Tacos Meal

Del Taco customers in Santa Paula was charged thousand of dollars from their bills from ordering burritos and tacos meal. The American fast food restaurant serving Mexican cuisines said that there was a technical glitch on their billing system, which they will solve by providing money refund to their customers.

Some reports were made during one incident, where the Del Taco customer was billed $5,480 which was debited from his account even if the real bill was only $5.48. One customer, Michael Cole said he was shocked to discover that he was charged $4,050 for just ordering two beef tacos and one CrunchTada Pizza. He said that he noticed the large loss of money from his account, when he went to the ATM to withdraw $20 and was denied.

In other incidents, Dino DeLao told reports that his mortgage check bounced after the restaurant charged their account with an unbelievable bill of $10,200. He was afraid that their other bills will be affected by the technical glitch. His wife also believes that she only paid $10.20, for their bill on the Santa Paula Del Taco restaurant and was shocked to see the charges deducted to them.

Del Taco already issued a statement pointing out that the mistakes on the bills were caused by a technical glitch coming from their third party card processor. The Mexican restaurant will be issuing refunds to the customers who were affected by the wrong bill charges.

The Mexican fast food restaurant also said that the reversal of funds have already began, and banks have been communicated by the company about the current issue. They are aware of the incorrect charges made by their Del Taco restaurant at Santa Paula.

Customers who were victimized by the high charges were those who used credit cards and debit cards to pay off the restaurant bill. The incident also happened on Monday and Tuesday at the Del Taco located at Santa Paula.

Del Taco Santa Paula said that fund reversals are already being experienced by the customers who were affected by the technical glitch.
