Solange Knoweles vs Jay Z
A video surfaced on the web of an elevator CCTV footage covering an altercation between singer producer Jay Z and his sister-in-law Solange Knowles which was first posted on the popular California based news outlet TMZ's website.
TMZ known for their big scoops in gossip, showcases the three minutes and thirty-two seconds long video which first shows the "Drunk in Love" singer, Beyonce, walking into an elevator closely followed by her sister, he husband and beefy looking man who one can assume is a bodyguard.
Only a few seconds into the video and then Solange goes into verbal attack mode, one obviously cannot hear what is being said, but there are lots of hand gestures being used and then out of nowhere she lands blow after blow, she gets two or more solid punches in before she is restrained by the guard. Still she doesn't desist only struggles further, using her legs since her arms are now pinned to her sides by the guard.
Jay Z doesn't retaliate, of course he fends of her blows protecting himself but sill choosing to let the guard handle the situation and all the while Beyonce stays mum on the side taking everything in almost freakishly calmly. What is running through her head? How does she choose, is she supposed to choose between two of her loved ones? She doesn't lift a finger to aid her husband or to stop her sister, perhaps she's still processing what is happening?
After the Met ball, the trio were seen leaving Manhattan's Standard hotel's party last May 5 held in the Standard's rooftop club the Boom Boom Room. As of now, there are no reported injuries.
It is still not clear how exactly TMZ was able to obtain this golden, explosive material, which upon viewing appears to be rerecorded on a camera as it was played back on a security monitor.
The Standard Hotel said in a statement. "We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests,"
