If you are a tv fan, you definitely must have a favorite TV couple, which every show has to have-a romance to spice things up a little between the characters, which can serve as a driving force behind the series, whether it be in a comedy, drama, thriller sci-fi etc.

Friends Ross and Rachel was fleshed out for it's ten seasons-where they broke up once or twice before ultimately having a baby Emma and then ending up together in the series finale.

The Office's Jim and Pam started out as best friends before Jim took a gigantic leap out of the friend zone area by confessing  that he couldn't just be her friend anymore and then saying he was in love with her but was shot down by then engaged Pam. All the heartbreak and pining in the series was all worth it as they ended the show happily married with two kids.

Castle's partners detective "Kate" Beckett and novelist Richard Castle took four season of crime solving before 'Caskett' officially became a thing.

Relatively new couple from Fox's hit comedy New Girl, the roommates Nick and Jess had a connection going on for them since the first season and yet only acted out on possible romantic feelings in the second season with them getting together in the season 2 finale.

The Big Bang's Sheldon Cooper is super awkward yet adorable pursuing his romantic relationship, after having finally met his match in his female counterpart neurologist Amy Farrah Fowler.

While How I Met Your Mother focused on Ted Mosby's search for his future wife, it was the steady relationship of Lily and Marshall which served as the glue of the entire series.

We have three famous vampire shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and True Blood, and The Vampire Diaries with potentially dangerous couples Buffy(vampire hunter) and Spike(vampire), True Blood has Sookie choosing between Bill and Eric and similarly TVD's Elena Gilbert is caught up between choosing between the two Salvatore brothers.

Of course it would be completely unforgivable if one didn't mention the classic power couple of the beloved I love Lucy in which real life married couple Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz created and acted the roles of Lucy and her singer/bandleader husband Ricky Ricardoif.

What about you who do you think should belong is the TV's Best Couple list?
