Norman Reedus is dead at 45. At least that's what the latest string of reports claim that the 'Walking Dead' actor has passed away not in the television series but in real life. Famous for playing Daryl Dixon in the hit AMC series 'Walking Dead,' Norman Reedus reportedly died in a car crash over the weekend.
Many Web sites including International Bussines Times reported about the alleged passing of the 45-year-old actor and all of them have debunked the said news as another celebrity death hoax. It was found out that the report originated from the notorious site Global Associated News, which is responsible for the many death hoaxes circulating online.
An excerpt from the false report as quoted by The Epoch Times reads: "Norman Reedus was killed in a motor crash." The report further states, "Norman Reedus was confirmed dead at 8:30 AM this morning." Because of the alarming nature of the report, many fans of the show and of the actor took to social media to question whether the death report was real.
Here are some of the tweets, fans voiced out on the social media platform to express their feelings over the shocking report.
"Saw something that said Norman Reedus, Daryl from @WalkingDead_AMC, died in an accident.... praying its a hoax," an Anthony Barbera III wrote.
