Shailene Woodley's dating life is still one of the never-ending topics online, especially now that the young actress' recently launched film 'The Fault in Our Stars' has become a major blockbuster. With her rapid rise to fame, many just can't help but wonder who she's really dating. Is it Miles Teller? Or 'Divergent' co-lead Theo James? Or, perhaps her TFIOS leading man Ansel Elgort?
Shailene Woodley's dating exploits have led to the incessant buzz of fans, who are hoping that Woodley is indeed dating one of her hot leading men. However, the 22-year-old 'Divergent' star has been tight-lipped on who she's really dating since the online speculations ran amuck.
Interestingly, in her recent interview for Vanity Fair, where she could also been seen gracing the cover of the July 2014 issue, Shailene may have dropped some hints on the real score in her relationship with Miller and more.
According to E! News, Shailene Woodley maintained in the issue that she and actor Miles Teller are simply the best of friends, who enjoy nothing more than platonic love.
Woodley and Teller of course played love interests in 'The Spectacular Now' and portrayed mortal enemies in 'Divergent.' But off-cam, they are nowhere near their two portrayals as they are just somewhere in between, bonded by friendship.
"I look at Miles and, like, I'm sort of Julia Roberts in the same way she is to [George Clooney]," Woodley said of her relationship with the 27-year-old actor. "Their relationship I could see being our relationship in 20 years, and that really is special."
And of course, Woodley knows George Clooney so well since she once played the rebellious daughter of the actor in 2011's 'The Descendants.'
"Somebody came to me and said, 'I can't wait to see what you do next.' I took that as pressure-that I had to live up to somebody else's expectations," Woodley said. "There were a few months where I was like, 'I don't want to act anymore.' And then I got over it and realized it's none of my business what other people think of me. Clooney has been an angel in my life for many reasons."
The young actress then spoke of how the famous Hollywood actor worked on set, and how he has been an angel to everyone on set. "He knew everyone's name on set. He treated everyone as an equal and everyone got his warmth," the young celeb said of the 51-year-old actor who once quipped that he'd like to adopt her.
Meanwhile, it can be noted that Shailene Woodley dating Ansel Elgort rumors were already slammed by both actors when they opened up about two months ago that they see their relationship as brother-sister and nothing more.
As for Theo James, he has been the constant rumored boyfriend of Woodley since they started filming 'Divergent.' However, both actors have been mum on the kind of relationship they share. But then again, the young actress may have already hinted something when she said, "I have zero expectations and zero rules. I'm open. I can't see it being another actor, except that they understand this lifestyle. Hey I could fall in love with an Aussie and move to Australia. Who knows!" in one of her interviews during the promotional period for 'Divergent.'
Meanwhile, MoviePilot maintains that Shailene Woodley and Theo James are not dating since the latter is already committed to a serious romance with actress Ruth Kearney.
