Dale Earnhardt Jr's girlfriend has always been behind the pro NASCAR racer's back, but lately she's getting a fair share of the limelight following her boyfriend's victory at Pocono.
NASCAR's most popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. has just made his second win this season at Pocono Raceway last Sunday, securing a spot in the Chase field. However, it's not only him and his crew whose been basking under the public's attention, his longtime girlfriend Amy Reimann is also getting a lot of following on her own.
In the heat of Earnhardt's successful NASCAR racing career, Reimann has been turning heads ever since the National Enquirer published a news story back in May that the couple are already hearing the wedding bells.
Unfortunately though, the NASCAR racer himself was surprised of the circulating news and slammed it as hoax in an interview with USA Today last month.
"We just skipped the engagement, I guess," Dale said of the circulating hoax that he is already tying the knot with his girlfriend Amy Reimann. "Went right to the wedding."
Although Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s girlfriend and the pro racer have been exclusively dating for years, Dale revealed that there hasn't been any wedding plans for the two of them yet.
And in case people are wondering if he's wedding will be at Daytona International Speedway, Dale said, "Of course not," adding, "I wouldn't force everybody to go down to Daytona for my wedding. I'd probably just have it right there in the backyard (of his North Carolina home). Whatever is easiest."
In March, NBC Sports revealed that Dale Earnhardt's girlfriend Amy Reimann prefers to call her boyfriend by his first name "Ralph."
The sports news site even dished that unbeknownst to most of his fans and to general sports fans, the NASCAR racer's real name is "Ralph Dale Earnhardt Jr."
In one of his tweets, Dale himself confirmed that Reimann calls him by his given first name as a response to a fan who queried if there's still someone who calls him Ralph.
"@ChancellorAva my gf @Amy_Reimann calls me Ralph most times. She's about the only one," Earnhardt, who is more commonly called by everyone as Dale or Junior or JR, wrote.
