"Blurred Lines" hit maker Robin Thicke is back with a more soulful music, in an attempt to win back his wife Paula Patton's heart back after his highly publicized cheating scandal.
The 37-year-old singer is currently working on his new album as of late, and Thicke has already debuted the official music video for the album's lead singer "Get Her Back."
The title of his album is said to be Paula, and from the looks of it, the lead single is also intended for the same person, his wife of almost nine years, Paula Patton.
In the video, Robin Thicke could be seen singing the song naked (or semi-naked), suggesting that he is willing to bare all of his feelings in this new song and music video.
The "Get Her Back" music video also features a yet to be identified model, who somehow resembles Robin Thicke's wife and the mother of his child, Julian Fuego Thicke.
According to Complex, Thicke's new single is one of his "attempts" to win the heart of his wife back. The site even notes that the song features a "beat up and bloody" Robin to denote his miserable life following their split.
The music video also features text messages that depict the things the couple could have exchanged in the heat of their argument amid their separation. However, at the end of the track, Robin sings "I gotta get her back tonight" to show how much he badly wants to win back Paula's affection and trust.
Aside from the lead single that obviously speaks of Thicke's serious intent of winning his wife back, his new "Paula" album will feature other romantic tracks such as Still Madly Crazy, Forever Love, Love Can Grow Back, and Too Little Too Late, according to The Guardian.
The American-Canadian singer already debuted his new lead single at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards in May.
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton tied the knot in 2005, and they split in February this year after the "Blurred Lines" singer's cheating rumors got out of hand.
So is Paula Patton caving in? It's hard to tell just yet. But in a May interview with Vanity Fair, Robin Thicke's wife gave a sweet answer when she said, "We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there -always was, and always will be."
