The 'Pacific Rim' actor then called the fake report as a bad joke saying, "It's kind of in bad taste to joke about people dying."
Additionally, the photographer blurted another death-related question, asking how the Hollywood celeb preferred to die on screen. Hunnam, who was formerly cast as Christian Grey for the movie adaptation of best-selling novel "50 Shades of Grey," responded that he is "superstitious" thus "I'm not going to start predicting my own death."
Meanwhile, after he decided to drop the lead role for "50 Shades of Grey" the actor has been everything but mum. Just recently though he also opened up about his exit from the production of the much-anticipated movie adaptation, saying that his decision was "heartbreaking."
"I felt like I had an interesting take on that character and felt like I could have done a good job of playing Christian Grey, otherwise I wouldn't have taken it on in the first place," the 34-year-old actor told Life & Style.
"When you put the time into something like that and a character comes alive in your mind, it's heartbreaking not to be able to play him," he gushed. "It was definitely kind of heartbreaking having to say goodbye to that character and not bring it to life."
