Previously on Bachelorette Season 10, Andi Dorfman returned to the U.S. with the four remaining bachelors to get the chance to meet each of the guy's families and friends. Andi visited the hometowns of Nick, Chris, Josh and Marcus and established a more intense connection at a personal level between each of the remaining men. In her quest for love and perhaps settling down, Andi tried to find out whether the remaining guys are ready to be married straight from the mouth of their families and closest friends. However, as fairytale sounding as it may seem, Andi's romantic exploits was briefly cut off when the the Bachelorette staff, crew and everyone working on the show found out about Eric Hill's untimely demise after a paragliding accident. On the other hand, fans criticized the show for exploiting Eric Hill's death to draw in more attention to the show, but Harrison defended the producers of the show in his weekly blog. "I knew this was going to greatly affect all of us, especially Andi," Harrison wrote following last week's Bachlelorette 2014 episode. "How could we not show or talk about an event that absolutely changed and affected everything and everyone on our show? For 13 years we've built this franchise by showing you everything that happens, whether it's good, bad, dramatic, or sad. I just didn't see how all of a sudden because something so tragic affected all of us that we just wouldn't show it; it didn't make sense." Andi Dorfman also echoed her thoughts about last week's episode on her Bachelorette blog. "I knew Marcus could be an amazing husband and father and truly give me everything in this world, but I also knew I didn't have that great love with him," Andi wrote.
