"Two and a Half Men" is wrapping up after its finale run this season, but it seems that Jon Cryer and co-star Ashton Kutcher are not in good terms. Well, not really. As per usual, the two actors have been anything but serious when talking about each other.
So when Jon Cryer was asked recently if his co-actor Ashton Kutcher is going to be a great dad to his son with actress Mila Kunis, Cryer couldn't help but poke fun at the 36-year-old father-to-be.
"Oh, it's going to be a disaster," Cryer joked of Kutcher's fathering skills at the TCA panels and party this Thursday.
But then the 49-year-old TV actor was quick to slam his first statement and praise Kutcher instead.
"No, Ashton is super excited," he said. "Ashton has even been excited every time we had a child actor on set. He loves kids and could not be more stoked to have a child."
It can be noted that Kutcher and 30-year-old actress Mila Kunis started dating in April 2012, and the former "70s Show" lovebirds got engaged in February. Now they are expecting their first child together.
While Kutcher poked fun at his relationship with Kunis on his CBS show, Cryer dished that he is just hoping that the media and the press will give the parents-to-be some privacy.
"I'm very excited for it! They are super lovely, but if you hang out with them, they are just a young couple having a baby. They just happen to be two of the most beautiful people on Planet Earth, but other than that, they are two of the most normal people," Cryer said.
"It's just so tough for them everywhere they go, they're just hounded. I hope people will let them be a normal, young married couple at some point, because they deserve that. They are lovely, lovely folks," he added.
To wrap everything up about Kutcher's fathering, Cryer noted that the young actor already has experience.
"He's had a sort of a shadow fatherhood in his relationship with Demi and Demi's kids, but this is his chance to start from the word 'go,' " he explained. "It's the same, but it's different, so it's so fun to watch someone be so excited about something."
Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are not the only two who are going to become parents this year. Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer's characters on their hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men" are also becoming parents on the show.
Not only that CBS boss Nina Tessler already revealed that they are going to fake a gay relationship in the finale season just so they could secure an adoption.
Looks like we'll be seeing Ashton Kutcher's fathering skills both on television and in real life anytime soon.
