'Avengers Age of Ultron' To Feature ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ ‘The Winter Soldier?’ Joss Whedon Teases Possibility

"Avengers Age of Ultron" is just a couple of months from hitting theaters, but as early as now director Joss Whedon is teasing with some major twists that will surely leave fans hanging on to their seats.

Whedon tweeted this week that filming for "Avengers Age of Ultron" is finally over. He dropped the good news on the said social media portal with a snap of him on the set of the forthcoming sequel to the very successful blockbuster movie "Avengers."

In the snap, Whedon could be seen sitting while his facial expression denotes that he is somehow confused on what to do next.

On top of the pic is the title "Avengers Two Wrapped" and just below Whedon's feet are the words "What The Hell Do I Do Know."

A couple of minutes later, the Marvel genius confirmed the news with a photo collage of himself and the crew members on set in their final days of filming. He captioned his second uploaded snap, "My crew. No: the crew I got to be a part of. These (and more) people made the movie, and my year."

Now, apart from confirming that filming for "Avengers Age of Ultron" has finally ended, Whedon also gushed recently about two major twists Marvel fans should watch out for in the new installment and the other future installments all the same.

In one of his recent interviews, Whedon dished about the possibility of Bucky or The Winter Soldier joining the Avengers.

"The fact is, Ultron is a clear and present danger and Bucky's in the wind," he said of Steve Rogers of Captain America's friend, who based on the previous installment of "Captain America" has already transformed into The Winter Soldier.

"We do mention the fact that that's his sort of primary thing, but he's also working with The Avengers too," Wheddon added. "We're not ignoring it, but he definitely has to deal with a mad 8 foot robot, because that's one of those things that you put it off and it just gets worse."

Interestingly, Whedon also teased that the impossible might happen any time soon, and if it does the Avengers team will meet the Guardians of the Galaxy film in one future installment.

"I think that both studios [Marvel and Warner/DC] have kind of different agendas, different ways of approaching the superhero genre, and the ethos of the thing, and the esthetic. They go very dark and serious and sometimes it works amazingly, and Marvel tends to be a little lighter," Whedon said in an interview with Nerd HQ.

"Kevin Feige has a big plan and every now and then, he'll tell me part of it if he thinks it's going to affect what I'm doing or if he thinks what I'm doing is going to affect his." he gushed.

"But as much as possible, I try to live in my own bubble, he finally said, adding, "Guardians is very much its own thing. They're not the Guardians of this galaxy; it's a different one. So, I can sort of keep them at arm's length, long enough to do my thing and then I'm sure everything is going to get mixed together because it's Marvel."

The official lineup of actors appearing in the second installment of the blockbuster superhero-themed franchise include Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Aaron Taylor-Johnsson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Elizabeth Olsen and Scarlett Johansson, among others.

"Avengers Age of Ultron" is expected to start showing on the big screen this May 1, 2015, reported Hallels.com.
