The sentiments of many Whitney Houston fans last August 9, 2012 was gone but not forgotten, as they celebrate the late singer's birthday. But for the iconic singer's daughter - Bobbi Kristina, she made that day even more meaningful by paying tribute to her late mom.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 21 year old Grammy-winning singer's daughter, paid tribute to her mom through social media to commemorate her birthday.
She tweeted: "GoodMorningWorld ! & AGrandBeautifulPhenomenalWonderful HappyHappyHappyBirthday2my amazingMommy!" " 2day is YOUR day, Iloveulady! @nickdgordon"
Later that day she had tweeted another birthday wish with a tasty cake included.
Whitney Houston, who passed away last February 11, 2012 at a Beverly Hills hotel, developed huge fans with hits "I Wanna Dance with Somebody," "Greatest Love Of All" and "I Will Always Love You". She died at 48.
Since her mother's death, Bobbi Kristina found love and got married to baseball star Nick Gordon in January 2014 on a secret wedding ceremony.
Paying tribute to her late mom was indeed a very special thing to do for a daughter. It must have melted the hearts of Houston's fans as well as their families & friends. This is one great way of remembering one great singer & mother; she would have been 51 years old.
Bobbi had also patched things up with her dad, the "My Perogative" singer Bobby Brown. The father - daughter enjoyed a wonderful dinner last Father's day. "My face says it all, I love you daddy," Bobbi said. Her dad also hinted that Bobbi is planning to launch a music career, following the footsteps of her mom and also one way of paying tribute to the late singer.
Also, it was rumored that Whitney Houston's closest friends, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson will be helping Bobbi Kristina on paying tribute to her late mom.
