Hope Solo's husband Jerramy Stevens attended the court hearing of his girlfriend's case on Monday at the Kirkland, Washington municipal court, the Daily Mail has learned.
The two-time Olympics champ Hope Solo's husband and his wife were even spotted holding each other's hands as they entered the court to face whatever decision the authorities have regarding the 32-year-old case that stemmed after she allegedly attacked her half-sister and her 17-year-old nephew in June.
Sources said at the time that the half-sister and the nephew get some beating from the soccer star in a drunken brawl when Solo went to their house to complain about her husband who was "being a jerk."
Police affidavit revealed that during their conversation the siblings drank wine and became inebriated leading to some miscommunication on Solo's part.
The soccer player reportedly thought that her nephew insulted her so she retorted to the young one that she's "too fat and crazy" to become an athlete.
In an interview with the police, the 17-year-old said that Solo continued berating him so he finally shouted at her to "get her c***face out of my house."
Following which, Solo started attacking her nephew by grabbing his hair and punching his body. When his half-sister intervened, the Olympic medalist attacked her as well before leaving the said house.
TMZ obtained photos in June showing the bruises on Solo's half-sister's cheekbone and the red patches and the bleeding ear of her nephew, who was photographed with a torn shirt.
Since the case opened, Hope Solo pleaded not guilty to the charges of domestic violence and is hoping that the charges are going to be dropped on November 4.
She also took to Facebook that time to apologize for the scandalous behavior she displayed.
"I understand that, as a public figure, I am held to a higher standard of conduct," she wrote. "I take seriously my responsibilities as a role model and sincerely apologize to everyone I have disappointed."
Though the issue technically sprang from her marital woes, it is noteworthy that Hope Solo's husband is quite supportive of his wife in attending the brief hearing.
Insiders say the couple appeared to be very sweet and all smiles as they listened to the hearing, which has set up a new court date for November.
Hope Solo's husband may seem very familiar to many people since he used to play for the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On the other hand, Steven's wife is the woman behind the victories of the U.S. National Soccer Team in bagging two gold medals at the Olympics. She is playing goalie for the Seattle Reign as of late.
The domestic violence case involving her family is not the first time for Solo and Stevens.
In 2012, Hope Solo's husband was detained just a couple of hours prior to their wedding for an assault involving the soccer star. Fortunately, no one charged him that time so he was released shortly.
