MTV reality star, Diem Brown fights cancer for the third time.
After beating ovarian cancer for the second time less than two years ago, TV star and cancer advocate Diem Brown is in the battle for her life once again after having diagnosed with colon cancer. Diem Brown's strength and courage was astonishing when she was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer nine years ago.
Reports said that the reality star, Diem Brown, collapsed while filming her new reality show and was airlifted to New York to undergo an emergency surgery on August 17. According to her sister Megan, the doctors reportedly found a tumor completely blocking her colon so an emergency surgery was needed to remove the blockage. She then added that the doctors also found multiple tumors after the removal of the said mass.
The 32-year old TV star, Diem Brown is apparently in an intensive care unit at a New York City hospital after undergoing another surgery due to the development of an infection in her abdomen. She is reportedly in a stable condition and is expected to start another round of chemotherapy in the coming weeks.
Diem Brown's first battle with cancer was in 2006 when she was 23 years old. Her cancer then reappeared in 2012. She had remained resilient through the years she combatted cancer.
Megan, Diem Brown's sister, said that her sister is such a fighter and very tough. And that she is always ready to battle cancer for this is her third time.
However a traumatic experience, Diem Brown lingers to find some light in looking forward at her journey's end. She also draws her strength from her family, friends and fans. Support have been outpouring overwhelmingly.
Now, though coping with the bad news, fans are expressing their support to Diem Brown as she continues to bravely fight and combat her cancer. And supporters are wishing all the best in her recovery.
Diem Brown is remarkably indeed an inspiration to those others who are in the same battle as she is. She provides strength and courage as she endures to fight cancer for the third time.
