Prison Break stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller reunites in the comic drama "The Flash". It archives the first time that the actors who played brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield in the Prison Break series will appear together after it ended in 2009.
As first per reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Prison Break star Dominic Purcell will play Mick Rory known as the antihero Heat Wave, an arsonist who finds a vent for his fascination with fire when he teams up with Leonard Snart portrayed by Wentworth Miller known as Captain Cold in The Flash.
In July, Wentworth Miller was cast in The Flash and will make his first appearance in the fourth episode. Meanwhile, Dominic Purcell's character will also be seen from that same episode.
In the tradition of the DC Comics, Heat Wave is a member of the Rogues, headed by Captain Cold, portrayed by the Prison Break actors in The Flash. Heat Wave has been seen in animated form on shows such as Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
The actors are not the only Prison Break alums who are casted in The Flash. Other major casts from the series have been featured in The Arrow/The Flash Universe. Robert Knepper who played The Clock King on Arrow is set to portray his role in The Flash and Peter Stormare as Count Vertigo on the new season of Arrow.
The Flash cores on Central City assistant police forensic investigator Barry Allen, who visits Starling City to look into a chain of inexplicable robberies that may have a link to a tragedy in his past. Through a freak accident, he assumed the influence of super speed, which alters him into the fastest man alive.
The Flash and Arrow's episodes eight will be a two-hour crossover event. The leading episode features a character part role by Arrow star Stephen Amell, whereas the fourth episode will feature Emily Bett Rickards' Felicity journey over to Central City. Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell is the most recent addition to The Flash guest cast.
