After The Success Of Scarlett Johansson’s New Movie ‘Lucy’, The Actress Now Welcomes Baby Girl Named Rose

Following the worldwide success of Scarlett Johansson's new movie, "Lucy" last month, the 29-year old actress is now officially a mom! She welcomed a baby girl named Rose, her firstborn child with fiancé Romain Dauriac.

"Lucy" was a 2014 French science fiction action film written and directed by Luc Besson and the second largest budget French Film production in 2013. "Lucy" was Scarlett Johansson's new movie and was released on July 25, 2014. It followed her movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in March 2014.

Scarlett Johansson's new movie Lucy was positively received following the commercial success of her Captain America movie. The film was shot in Paris, Taipei and New York City. Her co-stars were Morgan Freeman, Amr Waked and Choi Min-sik. Scarlett Johansson portrayed the title role, a woman who gets physic abilities from accidentally swallowing a nootropic drug.      

Lucy became a box office success grossing $270 million against a $40 million budget. Scarlett Johansson's new movie was tagged as the third top-grossing opening for a female-driven action film. It followed the successes of Wanted and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Scarlett Johansson's portrayal was praised and the film gained positive reviews.

Meanwhile, after the successes of her movies this year, Scarlett Johansson is once again in the mood for celebrating. She is reveling the coming of her daughter, Rose, with her fiancé Romain Dauriac. As supporters of the No Kids Policy in Hollywood, the couple, who is now new proud parents, is seeking privacy during this time.

Romain Dauraic is a 31-year old French independent advertising agency owner. He and "Lucy" actress Scarlett Johansson started dating in November 2012. The couple then announced their engagement in September 2013. This year, Scarlett Johansson began living in the Rive Gauche part of Paris, France with her fiancé and announced that they were expecting a child together in March. After a year of the couple's engagement, they welcomed their firstborn daughter, Rose.

Scarlett Johansson was previously married to "Green Lantern" actor Ryan Reynolds who is now happily wed to "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively. According to some reports on entertainment sites, "Lucy" star Scarlett Johansson doesn't want to rush tying the knot and stated that being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and savor the relationship.

Now, after the box office successes of Captain America and Scarlett Johansson's new movie Lucy, the actress is blissfully rejoicing another success, this time being a first-time mom to her daughter, Rose.
