Another former WWE wrestler has died too early. Sean O'Haire was found dead in his South Carolina home due to an alleged suicide at age 43, after being in the ring for many years.
Sean O'Haire, the 43-year old former WWE fighter was found dead by his father in his home in South Carolina with a rope tied around his neck just beside his bed. Reports said that the pro wrestler died in an alleged suicide however, authorities are currently doing the investigation in order to identify the real cause of Sean's abrupt death.
The 6 feet 6 inches tall Sean O'Haire was an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist and kick boxer. He made his debut in WCW in 2000. He rose to fame when he joined WWE as veteran star Rowdy Roddy Piper's acolyte. But, his career took a plunge a year after Piper quit the ring in 2003. In 2006, Sean O'Haire retired from professional wrestling and began competing in mixed martial arts and kickboxing before he became a hair stylist.
Sean O'Haire's sudden death stunned the pro wrestling fans. He was found hanged from a bedpost by his father in his home in Spartanburg, South Carolina on September 10, 2014. He had allegedly committed suicide the day before. Sean O'Haire had reportedly been depressed.
Sean O'Haire was frequently presaged among the most endowed wrestlers but failed to make to the world championships. His death joins the appallingly high number of wrestlers' deaths that lose their lives prematurely since the '90s.
As per the Associated Press report, the Spartanburg County Coroner's office will conduct a cooperative investigation with the Spartanburg Police Department to define Sean O'Haire's cause of death, while external investigation results and toxicology reports are still pending and other details are not yet revealed.
After being in the ring for years, Sean O'Haire's sudden death at 43 is now among latest in the archives of pro wrestlers who have died at a young age. His death follows the most recent high profile legendary wrestler, The Ultimate Warrior's death in April after suffering from heart attack at the age of 54.
