Apple Watch Gold Edition will be priced higher than its other two collections. Expect it will be within a thousand bucks price range.
Based on Apple's website the Edition collection consists of six variations of the Apple Watch. Each variation's watch case is made from an 18-karat gold. It has been developed specifically by the company's metallurgists to ensure that it is much harder compared to the standard gold.

He said that it would be cost around $600 in order to make the gold case. The price would be doubled to include the electronics as well as the mark-up. Therefore, it could be around $1,200 in retail when it hit the stores in 2015.
The price is not similar to that of its lower end versions. The sport version is retailed at $349 which is way much lower compared to its Gold Edition counterpart. Edition watches will definitely be expensive since gold as a metal is expensive.
This means that Apple do cater to different group of people who want to wear the watch but living a different lifestyle. There is a watch for those who want to wear it for prestige, for those who have active lifestyle, or simply to those who want to have an Apple device close to their bodies.
