According to Metro Nashville Police officials, the former Tennessee Titans player Rob Bironas died on September 20, Saturday when he lost control on a curve in his 2009 GMC Yukon Denali and crashed after 11 pm less than a mile form home.
As per a released statement posted on their website, police said that Rob Bironas' SUV was speeding when it went off the road and hit tree lines before coming to a halt upside down in a conduit. Rob was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Officials said that there was no alcohol or drugs evidence at the scene. Country singer Rachel Bradshaw is now the widow of former NFL kicker Rob Bironas and has remained silent on her time of grief.
NFL kicker Rob Bironas was released by the Titans after nine seasons. The Tennessean reported that Rob worked out for the Detroit Lions and for Tampa Bay during the offseason. Rob Bironas married Rachel Bradshaw, daughter of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw, in June.

Rob Bironas' death was confirmed through a Twitter post quoting, "It's w/ heavy hearts that we confirm the passing RB # 2 We appreciate your respect for the family's privacy and your prayers at this time." The Titans extended their condolences while it primed to play a game at Cincinnati. The team said that Rob has made a substantial influence as a player in his nine years with the team and more vitally touched many lives in the Nashville community off the field.
