It is indeed a shocking admission! And Jeremy Renner is officially off the market after he revealed through an interview with Capitol File magazine that he clandestinely married girlfriend Sonni Pacheco.
The 43-year old Hawkeye actor confirmed his marital status as the magazine interviewed him. Jeremy Renner has been mum about his personal life to keep his job as an esteemed movie star from getting in the way of his blissful home. But now he revealed that he is married to his actress and model girlfriend Sonni Pacheco.
Jeremy Renner is not only off the market after marrying his girlfriend but also a proud dad to Ava Berlin. It seems that it is not only a period of mourning to the actor's avid fans and supporters but also a congratulatory moment for the married couple. As a dad, Jeremy revealed that he can't wait for her daughter to get older. He even warned saying, "As a father, I'm going to make it very difficult for her to find a man."
Jeremy Renner revealed that he and his Canadian model girlfriend Sonni Pacheco had actually married. His shocking admission happened while he was doing promotions for upcoming CIA drama Kill The Messenger. Jeremy told the Capitol File magazine, "I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy. I don't need her to get hammered with my life. Privacy issues are important because I want her to go about her day without being bothered."
Inopportunely, Jeremy Renner did not offer any details about his wedding or any other issues on his current marital status. But, he open up about the media scrutiny. He admitted that it might be because he has been so private about his life so people got so interested.
Remaining to be atypically open during the interview, and aside from his admission that he is actually married to Sonni, Jeremy Renner also shared his experiences on becoming a father late in his life. He said that it's the best thing that he has ever done. He added that he was so blessed because he had achieved a lot of things that he wanted. And now that he can really spend time with his family, Jeremy revealed that the only thing that he often thinks about is his daughter and he admitted that he's very miserable when he doesn't see her.
Sonni Pacheco, who is married to Jeremy Renner, gave birth to baby Ava Berlin in March 2013. Rumors about her pregnancy surfaced earlier that year. Jeremy Renner is so happy to be a father. He said, "I really love being her father. The only thing that has changed is my perspective on things. I still work, probably even more. It used to be for myself so I'm not old and broke. All these things I still do, but I do it now for the future of my baby, and if it gets in the way of her and her well-being, then I stop."
For now, Jeremy Renner has redeployed his priorities a tad, even as he continues a fast stride, currently shooting Mission: Impossible 5 alongside Tom Cruise. He said the work still changes him artistically but his family now comes first. Indeed, Jeremy Renner's life is on cloud nine. He is married to Sonni and a proud dad to Ava Berlin.
