Daring Movie Actress Anne Hathaway Reveals Her Side Of The Story Over Widespread ‘Hathahate’

Award-winning movie actress Anne Hathaway went daring as she posed topless for the November issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine. She also revealed her side of the story over the widespread dislike that was dubbed as "Hathahate" on the internet.

On the cover of the magazine, Anne Hathaway posed in a striking photo, asking fans to take her back. As per Us Weekly, she was dressed in a stunning red strapless dress with a sequined bodice; the movie star blew a kiss to the camera with a cover line reading, "Kiss and Make Up."

Anne Hathaway is an American actress who rose to fame when she played the role of Mia Thermopolis in the Disney film "The Princess Diaries" in 2001. Since then, she was featured in dramatic movies such as Havoc and Brokeback Mountain. She also starred in "The Devil Wears Prada," "Becoming Jane," "Rachel Getting Married," Tim Burton's "Alice in the Wonderland," "Valentine's Day," "Love and Other Drug," "Dark Knight Rises" and "Les Misérables."

However, the 31-year old stunner notably fell from one of America's favorite sweethearts to one of the most hated celebrities after she took home the Best Supporting Actress Award and Golden Globe award in January and February 2013 for her portrayal of the role Fantine in "Les Misérables." Anne Hathaway grabbed intense public attention in everything - from her recognition speeches to her outfits to her awards season behavior. Her reputation transitioned from one of the admired celebs to being a second-rate star who took herself too seriously.

Entertainment Weekly reported that though the start of 2013 has showed Anne Hathaway's innumerable success when awards were being piled upon her for her "Les Mis" performance, it also marked the beginning of the widespread "Hathahate." In a Yahoo UK article, Anne Hathaway revealed her side of the story. She retold her reaction after she came across an article titled "Why Does Everyone Hate Anne Hathaway" after searching her name on the internet.

"I was in crisis. Now I'd be fine. I really would be. I'd let it roll off my back, but at the time I was still partly Fantine. I was still identifying with being a victim," Hathaway said.

Anne Hathaway also shared that learning the negativity surrounding her has had a lasting effect. She also added that she felt shocked, embarrassed and could even feel the shame. The "Les Mis" movie actress added that even directors were reserved about working with her over the alleged public image.

"People treated me a certain way. But I've grown from it. This whole thing has made me a way more compassionate and loving person. And I don't feel sorry for myself," Hathaway said.

Anne Hathaway also explained to Harper's Bazaar that she had damaged her health during the movie filming of "Les Misérables," but didn't want to elaborate for it may be misunderstood as she was "courting sympathy." The brunette beauty, who is married to Adam Shulman, also took responsibility for some of her slipups, acknowledging that her Golden Globes speech was not her best moment.

Following the widespread "Hathahate," Anne Hathaway retreated from the public attention. But now she is returning to promote her latest movie, "Interstellar" alongside actor Matthew McConaughey.  After recognizing her mistakes, she took a leap of faith by posing daringly on Harper's Bazaar magazine's November issue.

Now, movie actress Anne Hathaway is looking for second chance. Inside the magazine, she stripped down physically and emotionally and finally opening up about the negative reception of her. But will the Hathahaters and Anne Hathaway finally "kiss and make up?"
