Apple, Inc., three days after announcing its launch of iPad 3, which hints at more employment for the technology sector, is claiming that its power in innovation has brought half a million jobs to the U.S. through its masterpiece inventions.
Being the company now rated as the most valuable in the world, Apple is claiming that, although most of their related employments are from their Chinese suppliers, it is also creating 514,000 jobs in the United States through its creative products.
Apple claims that it has contributed to the creation of these jobs both directly and indirectly, including Apple's own 47,000 employments and 257,000 jobs from other companies that accessorize, provide parts, develop, and support its revolutionary products.
Apple currently has 246 store locations, of which there are about 27,000 employees. Each store has over 100 employees. And, most of these employees have been employed for over 5 years.
The iPhone maker, whose domination in Market cap (over $500 billion) exceeds the GDP's of every country in the world except the top 24, hatched the application market to its vibrant economy today and has allowed 210,000 developers to earn more than $4 billion dollars in revenue.
Of the companies helping manufacture iOS products, Apple cites employees at Intel which manufacture processors and Corning which manufactures glass.
15 of the states in U.S. have Apple call center locations. Customer service representatives total to 7700, unlike some other companies that have outsourced their customer service stations.
The company's new iPad 3 would provide more job opportunities, as a poll by Poll Position has confirmed that many young adults think that, soon, tablets like the iPad will replace personal computers. A change is perhaps eminent in the future of technology as Apple has predicted in its revolutionary confidence.
