After Josh Groban's admission in a magazine interview that he'd love to have another serious relationship, the self-confessed "real romantic at heart" singer seemed to be into dating again; and this time with actress Kat Dennings.
On Saturday, Josh Groban and Kat Dennings made their first official appearance at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills, which sparked more dating rumors.
Josh Groban and Kat Dennings might not be the most expected couple but they surely make a gorgeous pair. After rumors broke out about the couple's dating statuses, now they are officially out. Multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple is indeed in a relationship.
"Kat and Josh recently started dating and are having a lot of fun," an Us Weekly source stated.
Josh Groban and Kat Dennings fueled gossips when they attended the 2014 Carousel of Hope Ball, which is an event that advocates in raising funds for Diabetes research. The lovely couple was seen posing with their arms around one another on the red carpet. Dennings was snapped whispering in Groban's ear and laughing with her new boyfriend.
Josh Groban is a 33-year-old American singer, songwriter musician, actor and record producer. He is considered as one of the bestselling artists in the United States who have sold over 25 million records worldwide. Groban is recently the host of ABC's musical competition series, "Rising Star" which started airing on June 22, 2014. Celebrity Net Worth lists his fortune as $30 million.
Meanwhile, Kat Dennings is a 28-year-old American actress who first made an appearance in an episode of the HBO drama-comedy series, "Sex and the City." She was featured in the movie, "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist," "Thor," and "Thor: The Dark World." Dennings stars alongside Beth Behrs in the CBS television series, "2 Broke Girls." Before she her relationship with Josh Groban, Dennings was dating actor Nick Zano.
Josh Groban and Kat Dennings might be an odd couple but they just look lovely together. And E! News also confirmed that the couple is exclusively dating.
"They were so cute together! They were adorable on the carpet. She was whispering in his ear a lot and they seemed really happy," a source of the stars told E! News.
At the annual benefit, Josh Groban performed three songs. Prior to dating Dennings, Groban has shared about just how serious his relationship was with ex-girlfriend January Jones. Their relationship lasted for almost two and a half years. Groban shared in a February 2013 interview with Details magazine that his previous relationship with Jones was actually his "longest relationship." But after that relationship ended, Groban stated that "dating can be very easy or very tough."
"We dated for about two and a half years, and we were madly in love. It was definitely my longest relationship. I'd love to get into another serious relationship. I am a real romantic at heart," Josh Groban told Details magazine.
Kat Dennings may have comparable feelings with ex-lover, Nick Zano, whom she met on the set of "2 Broke Girls." According to Inquisitr, a report confirmed that the ex-couple attempted to keep their personal relationship out of the public's keen interest. However, that was only until Dennings confirmed in an interview with Glamour magazine in September 2012 that they were together. And as reported by Daily Mail, the former lovebirds appeared in bliss when they went on a Hawaiian vacation in May.
"Yes! I have nothing to hide! It's the truth! He's the best! I didn't know him before the show," Dennings told Glamour magazine.
Josh Groban and Kat Dennings seemed to have moved on from their past relationships. Their "officially dating" status is just a proof that the couple is trying a chance at love once again.
