American pop star Demi Lovato has become engaged to a 5-years-old fan over the weekend in an impromptu ceremony on stage.
According to reports, the singer brought the fan on stage during a stop on her Demi World Tour in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Saturday before directing him to propose to her.
Demi Lovato explained to the roaring crowd that she had seen "the cutest little boy" with a placard saying "I have a ring for you."
"I think since you're up here we should make it official," she said to the little boy called Grant.
"But before you do it, do you know how to propose to somebody?" she asked the blushing 5-years-old.
After guiding him to pop the big question, Demi Lovato sounded an emphatic "I will," adding that "You put the ring on the right finger too! Thank you!"
By this time little Grant was overwhelmed with emotions. She told the little boy "I love you so much and you are so sweet and I can't wait to see you at the wedding."
Although Demi Lovato claimed she "wasn't expecting" to become engaged this past weekend, there have been many rumors that the singer is planning to tie the knot with her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.
Earlier in the year, after she was spotted donning a diamond ring with Valderrama. Shortly afterwards, she Tweeted "To the funniest, most inspiring, incredible man I know.. @WValderrama - thank you for helping me get through my darkest moments..You truly are a light to this world and to my life..Happy Birthday!!!"
Later, Demi Lovato dispelled rumors that she had become engaged to Valderrama saying "I tweet one thing...And then people were like, 'She's engaged!"
"Honey, if I was engaged, I would be showing the rock off!" she said.
