Previously on Scandal Season 4, Olivia brought Jake to a dinner date with her father, Rowan, and things couldn't have been more awkward between the two. When Olivia Pope briefly left the table, Rowan and Jake had an interesting conversation. Jake threatened the other to leave town this instant or he would reveal to everyone the truth behind Jerry Jr. and Harrison's deaths. Yikes! Surprisingly, Rowan was not afraid or threatened by Jake's words. Also, Fitz continued to disrespect Abby when he called her the wrong name. Quinn had an intense moment with Charlie while Mellie was too preoccupied over a murder case. This week, Olivia decides to return to the White House to help "shut down a situation." In a recent interview, actor Tony Goldwyn, who plays Fitz, gushed, "This is one of those relationships that seems like an addiction to chaos." He then continued to express his thoughts on Fitz and Olivia's relationship, saying, "But I can't play this character and think that, because every time Fitz and Olivia are in each other's orbit there's this unavoidable magnetic pull between them, and that's just the way it is. I put a lot of stock in their attraction being way beyond a sexual attraction, and it's a pretty rare thing."
