Nike will release the newest colorway of the popular signature sneaker of Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant this weekend, and it is expected to get a lot of attention on the sneaker market.
The Kobe 9 Elite, one of the best-selling shoes this year, will be released in "Brave Blue" edition, which is officially listed as the Brave Blue/Metallic Silver-Military Blue-Dark Obsidian colorway of the shoe.
This edition features a brave blue-based seamless and Flyknit upper part combined with several blue hints and metallic silver Nike Swoosh and Kobe logo. It is finished off with black midsole and white outsole.
According to a release statement on Nike's official website, this new colorway of Bryant's ninth signature shoe with company was inspired by late Lakers team owner Jerry Buss. KicksonFire believes that this edition of Kobe 9 Elite, which also dubbed as the "Legacy" version will get a lot of attention on the sneaker market.
"The sneaker is inspired by the late great Jerry Buss, former LA Lakers Owner, playing a game of poker," KicksonFire noted. "There has been a lot of talk when it comes to this pair of Kobe 9s. It seems like people have had enough of the low top version of the sneaker for awhile, and want to see the original silhouette in some dope designs."
The Kobe 9 Elite "Brave Blue" will come out on Saturday, October 18, with retail price set at $225 per pair. More detailed images of this new signature sneaker are available here.
Aside from the new colorway of Bryant's signature sneaker, Nike will also release another Air Jordan Future Premium, which is their main lifestyle sneaker this year. This popular off-court shoe has been getting a lot of attention over the past several months mainly because of its one-piece woven upper.
This lifestyle shoe will come out in "Dark Chocolate" edition that is listed as the Dark Chocolate/Sail-Gum Yellow colorway of the sneaker. It sports a dark chocolate-based upper part finished off with white midsole and gum-based outsole.
The Air Jordan Future Premium "Dark Chocolate" will be released on Saturday for $375 per pair. More photos of this shoe are available on this link.
