Human Barbie strangled - Ukrainian model Valeria Lukyanova, popularly known as the human Barbie, due to her doll-like looks, has been attacked and assaulted by unknown men outside her home in Odessa.
According to reports from The Daily Mail, the 28 years old model was attacked by two unknown men on Halloween night while returning from shopping. The thugs reportedly human Barbie strangled and punched her on the head and face several times.
"I was attacked by the entrance of my block of flats," Lukyanova said of her ordeal.
She said the assault began shortly after arriving from a shop with bags. "I came back home from a shop with bags and entered the door code when two men rushed from the dark and attacked me."
Lukyanova says she has been receiving anonymous threats for the past two years concerning her doll-like looks. The human Barbie thinks the assault was a hate-crime because her attackers did not ask for money or rob her of any other valuables.
"They said nothing and did not try to rob me," she revealed. "It happened in a flash: they hit me on the head, several times on my jaw, then one of them began strangling me".
The huma n Barbie strangled Lukyanova said she feared for the worst and thought her attackers would not have stopped if her neighbor hadn't showed up.
"If it wasn't for my neighbor who suddenly appeared, I don't know what would have happened. They saw her and ran away," she said.
The human Barbie was then taken to a hospital where she has been receiving medical treatment. Lukyanova was discharged on Tuesday and says that she feels better, but continues to suffer from pains in her jaw.
"I have been on the strongest pain killer for four days, but still woke in the middle of the night from horrible pains," she revealed.
The news of 'human Barbie strangled' has since gone viral online. Many social media users are speculating that the model was attacked for her doll-like looks, which she insists are natural. According to the human Barbie, her fairly looks are natural and were inherited from her genes. Except her breast, which she says she has had "surgically augmented."
