Lindsey Vonn and & Tiger Woods have been together for more than a year now, but there are still doubts about whether or not their relationship will last.
Vonn and Woods made their relationship public in March 2013. Since then the two sports superstars have been supporting each other both in competitions and in their battle with injuries.
Woods failed to make an impact this year after being bothered by a nagging back injury since March, while Vonn has been out since the start of the year after undergoing a second ACL injury.
While they look to be in good terms over the past 18 months, sources close to the situation said that Vonn fears that their relationship won't last long as reports indicated that Woods might try to patch things up with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, who recently broke up with her boyfriend.
"Tiger has supported Lindsey through a difficult injury and rehab, and she has played the role of supportive girlfriend as well, cheering Tiger on during golf tournaments," the Inquistr noted.
"There could be trouble looming, and it has to do with Tiger's ex, Elin Nordegren. The model and mother to two of Tiger's kids recently split from her boyfriend, billionaire Chris Cline, leading to speculation that Tiger may leave Lindsey Vonn and try to re-kindle the romance with his ex."
Nordegren received $100 million dollars during her divorce settlement with Woods and reports indicated that the Swedish model built a $12.2 million mansion in Palm Beach. The estate includes a mini-golf course with two bunkers, which intrigued several onlookers.
"There were mixed interpretations of the gesture," Inquistr wrote on Nordegren's decision to build a mini-golf course. "Nordegren is not known as a golfer herself, so many thought it was built as a dig to her ex husband and a way to flaunt the reported $100 million she took in the divorce. But others suggest that it could mean Elin and Tiger are slowly patching things up and could be headed for a reunion."
Nordegren, who was seen together with Vonn and Woods in numerous occasions, previously said that she is not expecting any reunion, pointing out that her relationship with the golf superstar is just about their children, while also calling the former world's top golfer a "great father."
