Oscar awardee Jared Leto is looking like he will be playing the role of the Joker in David Ayer's upcoming movie, The Suicide Squad. Leto has just recently bagged some prestigious honor from the recent Oscar awards for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.
Leto is not showing any signs of stopping now that the iron is hot in his career. Although there is no confirmation about him playing the role on this project, fans are more than excited for him to play the critically acclaimed character of the Joker. It is definitely some huge shoes he is to fill in since some really great actors like Jack Nickolson and the late Heath Ledger have played the role.
The Suicide Squad is about a unique group of superheroes who are about to prove themselves worthy were assigned to go on a secret quest, which is bound to fail eventually.
Being Best Supporting Actor in the recent Academy Awards, he has been offered a lot of huge project lately. But Leto is focused on his music career as well and has not made any confirmation about any huge roles he was rumored to be a part of like Marvel's Doctor Strange.
There are also other actors who the production think would fit the role like Ryan Gosling however, he doesn't want to agree with the contract with other choices of different movies.
Meanwhile, Leto and his camp have made a statement that they are interested in the offer for another movie project, which is Doctor Strange. The studio is looking for a more established actor to play the role, but Leto but there is still a talk that they are considering him.
Fans are looking forward to his follow up role in the industry after bagging some legit recognition of his previous work.
