The Royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning another trip to the United States. And this time, sources said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be traveling to New York City to unveil their new charity, "United for Wildlife."
Although the Buckingham Palace has not yet officially announced the trip, The Daily Mail and the "Today" show are reporting that Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, planning their first stateside trip since 2011. According to The Wall Street Journal, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge intend to unveil their newest charity, United for Wildlife, besides meeting with conservationists in New York.
Prince William and Kate Middleton's three-day New York trip will be a first for the pregnant duchess. Reports said she had wanted to visit the city since she was a young girl. According to the New York Daily News, in spite of being grounded by doctors because of severe morning sickness due to her pregnancy, Kate has apparently been cleared to travel after an intended visit cancellation to Malta last September.
However, Kate Middleton is reportedly very excited for her first New York trip. And sources also suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be bringing their son, Prince George. No words of confirmation have been released for said details of the upcoming transatlantic journey of Prince William and his pregnant wife.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton had their first transatlantic visit in the United States three years ago. Shortly after their wedding in 2011, the royal couple visited Los Angeles.
In the upcoming New York trip, Prince William and Kate Middleton will meet conservationists to discuss illegal stealing and will also sit down with officials from international charities, including the World Wildlife fund.
"We will be in New York to talk about our Wildlife Crime Project, which is why the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are involved," a charity spokesperson said.
Representatives of the royal couple from United for Wildlife have recently returned from a reconnaissance trip and an announcement about Prince William and Kate Middleton's visit will be made imminently. In a CBS News NY report, the Duke of Cambridge is the president of the couple's new charity.
On Nov. 8, pregnant Kate Middleton, alongside husband Prince William, made an appearance as the royal couple visited an oil refinery in Wales. Her modest baby bump was visible beneath her chic double-breasted sly-blue wool coat. She was at the Valero facility in Pembrokeshire to mark the fiftieth anniversary of its opening.
Besides Prince William and Kate Middleton's upcoming New York trip, the pregnant duchess is set to make two public appearances this week, a reception for her charity Place2Be and the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium on Thursday.
