ISIS recently released an alleged Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's audio message. The audiotape was recorded by the leader days after the rumors of his death or injury spread. The recorded audio message was released through social media together with an English transcript.
In Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's audio message, the ISIS leader said the Islamic State militants will never stop battling "even if only one soldier remains." Experts said the recording seems authentic and recent. According to BBC News, the message is probably intended to counter the claim that the terrorist group leader has been killed.
Last week, Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was allegedly killed in the US-led coalition airstrike near the Iraqi city of Mosul.
In a 17-minute Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi audio message released by al-Furqan media, a jihadi state, has described Baghdadi as "Commander of the Faithful" and "Caliph of the Muslims." Though The Guardian reported the audiotape's authenticity was not promptly possible to determine but the voice, articulation, cadences, language and tone, which is characteristically defiant and incendiary, all appeared close to his speech patterns.
Based on the English transcript of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Audio Message, the ISIS leader calls on supporters to "erupt volcanoes of jihad everywhere." The Telegraph UK said the man also called for attacks in Saudi Arabia telling listeners that the Gulf kingdom is the "Head of the Snake," and that his "Caliphate" is expanding across the Arab world.
"Oh soldiers of the Islamic State, continue to harvest the [enemy] soldiers," the recording urged in the main passage. "Erupt volcanoes of jihad everywhere. Light the earth with fire under all the tyrants and their soldiers and supporters."
"Despite this Crusade campaign being the most fierce and severe of all, it is the greatest failure," Baghdadi continued. "We see America and its allies stumbling in fear, weakness, impotence and failure."
In the alleged audio message by ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, it included a reference to US President Barack Obama's announcement last Friday to deploy additional 1,500 troops in Iraq. It also denounced the "lying media" in claiming the US-led coalition that include Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan and Bahrain had struck ISIS targets.
"Be assured, O Muslims, for your state is good and in the best condition," Baghdadi declared. "Its march will not stop and it will continue to expand, by Allah's permission. The march of the mujahidin [Muslim holy warriors] will continue until they reach Rome. And soon, the Jews and Crusaders will be forced to come down to the ground and send their ground forces to their deaths and destruction."
Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the US-led coalition fighting ISIS was making development, but need to "prepare for a long and difficult struggle."
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's audio message, which was shared on jihadist web sites, appeared to have been recorded recently. And NBC News said it also included a reference to Egyptian militant group Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, which pledged allegiance to ISIS on Monday.
